The Swiss textile and clothing industry will be successful if its stakeholders share their knowledge, represent their interests collectively and actively shape the challenges of the future. The industry association strengthens this collaboration by connecting knowledge, pooling common interests, providing guidance and promoting the sector’s long-term competitiveness. Swiss Textiles supports its members in areas specific to the textile sector – such as sustainability, compliance, economic policy and innovation – by:

Rules of origin, new US tariffs or sustainability reporting – so that members do not have to keep track of regulatory, political and economic developments all at once: Swiss Textiles filters out the issues relevant to the sector on their behalf, categorises them and highlights the resulting implications and options for action. It also provides advice on labour and trade mark protection, regulations such as the EU Textile Strategy, and trade policy issues.
