Zurich - FREITAG’s Laura shoulder bag is making a comeback. The bag was first launched in 2003 and discontinued in 2011. After a 15-year hiatus, the product made from recycled truck tarpaulins is now back on the market.

(CONNECT) The Zurich-based bag manufacturer FREITAG has launched a new edition of the F 171 Laura. Like all FREITAG designs, the shoulder bag is made from used truck tarpaulins, according to a statement. The strap is made from repurposed seat belts and, compared to the original design, is longer so that the bag can also be worn crossbody. Additionally, the new model is more minimal than the 2003 version, adds the statement.

According to FREITAG, what makes Laura stand out is its diverse pattern and color scheme, inspired by Europe's transit roads. Each bag is unique and currently available from FREITAG, selected retail partners, and online. ce/ww
