(CONNECT) Haelixa AG, which specializes in DNA markers for tracing products and textiles, has appointed Marwa Zamaray to its Advisory Board. According to a company statement, Zamaray is a recognized advocate for environmental, social and governance (ESG) and a European Climate Pact Ambassador. With a background in B2B marketing, business development and strategy, she specializes in helping organizations strengthen sustainability initiatives, improve traceability and drive effective market transformation.

The Dutch native has worked for fashion brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Zara as well as for partners in the value chain and solution providers across the industry. According to Haelixa, her deep understanding of brand requirements and supply chain complexities make her the ideal candidate.

“Having worked at the intersection of sourcing, material traceability, and risk management, I have seen firsthand the growing necessity for transparency,” said Zamaray, who is currently Interim Marketing Director at the traceability platform TextileGenesis. “I am excited to bring my expertise to support Haelixa in shaping the future of supply chain transparency.”

This is what Patrick Strumpf, CEO of Haelixa, is counting on: “As sustainability regulations tighten across Europe, brands must proactively mitigate risks. Marwa’s expertise in this evolving landscape will be invaluable in ensuring we deliver the best solutions to our customers.” ce/mm
