(CONNECT) Schwob AG has designed a new collection of terry toweling for the hotel and catering industry in collaboration with Glarus-based Weseta Textil AG, according to a statement. The terry toweling will be presented to visitors at Basel Igeho 2025 from 15 to 19 November. The trade fair is Switzerland's largest for the catering and hotel industry. Anyone interested can purchase the new designs as a washcloth (30x30 centimeters), towel (50x100 centimeters), bath towel (70x140 centimeters), beach towel (90x170 centimeters), or bath mat (50x70 centimeters).

Each piece in the collection is characterized by the same care and attention to detail, as well as first-class quality in production, writes the company. The terry products stand out in particular thanks to the use of 100 per cent organic cotton (GOTS-certified), as well as entirely Swiss manufacturing. All products are washable at 95 degrees, and are highly absorbent and durable, according to the Burgdorf-based company.

Schwob AG combines traditional textile manufacturing with textile care services that it offers throughout Switzerland. Central to the Burgdorf facility is the company's jacquard weaving mill, which, with 11 electronic machines and single-thread operation, reportedly accommodates personalised designs and logos.

The company's core products are table and bed linens, which it supplies to hotels, restaurants, hospitals, and other institutions. ce/ja
