Fair Fashion Award 2025 now accepting applications

(CONNECT) Businesses, organizations and projects can submit applications online for the Fair Fashion Award 2025 from now until August 22, 2025. Last year, the event has been organized by Swiss Fair Trade and supported by the AMPHORA Foundation for the first time. The award recognizes outstanding solutions in the Emerging and Established categories.

The competition is looking for stakeholders that are setting new standards in the textile industry by embracing social and ecological responsibility. According to the award organizers, the circular economy forms the focus of this year’s competition. “The circular economy is not a trend, but our responsibility and the key to a sustainable and fair textile industry”, Managing Director Philipp Scheidiger explains. “With the Fair Fashion Award, our aim is to highlight impactful projects in addition to empowering people and organizations driving real change”.

The winning projects, selected by an interdisciplinary jury, are to be celebrated on November 25, 2025, as part of Innovation Day organized by the textiles association Swiss Textiles. They will be awarded prize money of 20,000 Swiss francs each, as well as consulting services valued at 5,000 Swiss francs.

“The Fair Fashion Award honors both the end products and the journey to get there”, comments jury member Andri Bodmer from Circular Globe. “It focuses on fair conditions and innovative business models.
