(CONNECT) The Zurich-based bag manufacturer FREITAG has presented the F44 Walter, its smallest backpack model to date, in a press release. As is the case for all other FREITAG bags, these models are made from used truck tarps and are all unique pieces. They are therefore even more individually tailored to the customer than the bags sold under the existing F49 Fringe range.

Thanks to its adjustable straps, the mini backpack can be worn on the back or carried by the handle. It can also be converted into a cross-body bag or shoulder bag by folding one of the straps and fixing it with the Velcro loop. In addition to the main compartment, the F44-Walter features an externally accessible fabric valuables pocket as well as an interior pocket that fits a notebook or small tablet device.

The measurements of the rucksack are 200 x 125 x 280 millimeters, which equates to a volume of 8 liters. According to the press release, these dimensions make the Walter neither a classic everyday bag nor a business bag, but rather a free-time bag for those who prefer to travel light and attract envious stares on the move.

The backpack has been available at all FREITAG stores, selected sales partners and online at freitag.ch for 180 Swiss francs since September 3. ce/ja
