(CONNECT) Haelixa AG from Kemptthal in the canton of Zurich, Switzerland, has been selected for inclusion in the Amplifier Programme 2025 by Philanthropy Asia Alliance (PAA) and the Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP), both of which are headquartered in Singapore. As detailed in a press release, the two organizations are keen to support early-stage innovators focused on developing solutions with the potential to deliver far-reaching social and ecological impacts. The Kemptthal-based firm was selected on account of its commitment to creating transparency and trust in the fashion and textile industry through its traceability technology on the basis of DNA markers.
Alongside Haelixa, a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH), the companies Baytech-HMS, unspun and Novoloop, which all operate in the textile circular economy space, were also chosen for this year’s Amplifier Programme from a longlist of more than 100 applicants.
“At Haelixa, we believe technology has the power to transform supply chains by making them radically more transparent”, comments Gediminas Mikutis, co-founder and CTO of Haelixa, in the press release. “Joining the Amplifier Programme is an opportunity to scale our impact by collaborating with industry leaders and expanding our solution into new markets and customer segments”, he concludes. ce/ww
