(CONNECT) Business class passengers of Swiss International Airlines will receive a Muntagnard sleep shirt on selected long-haul flights from the end of 2025, according to a statement from the sustainable fashion brand. “We are delighted to offer our Business Class guests a product that perfectly combines comfort, design, and sustainability while telling an authentic Swiss story,” Annabelle Reichen, Head of Hospitality & Catering Management at Swiss, is quoted as saying in Muntagnard's statement.

The partnership places Muntagnard in a line-up of premium Swiss brands that, with the new Swiss Senses long-haul cabin concept, are designed to evoke comfort and “Swissness”. “It's great for us to know that our high-quality products can now be experienced on board Swiss,” said Muntagnard co-founder Dario Pirovino.

The Chur-based company's Sleep Shirt is based on one of its classics – the T-shirt from the Legna range. “Silky soft wood fibers give Legna products a natural sheen and a luxurious feel, while also providing breathable, temperature-regulating properties – for a comfortable feel against the skin,” writes Muntagnard. Manufactured using an environmentally friendly, closed-loop process, Legna fiber is biodegradable and designed to be “circular from the ground up,” according to the manufacturer's product description.

Swiss is also going to provide passengers with flight luxuries like First Amenity Kits and pajamas, high-quality bedding, and the Swiss Signature fragrance Alpine Valley. Central to Swiss Senses is the newly designed cabin. It will be installed in the new Airbus A350-900 which will regularly fly between Zurich and Boston from January 2026. The concept will gradually be extended to the Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 fleets. ce/mm
