Zurich/Oberdiessbach - The Zurich-based label Paradis des Innocents and Marai, the manufacturer of leather accessories, have presented a joint Capsule Collection at this year’s Mode Suisse. The collection of clothes and belts is based on the song “everything is good”.

The textiles studio Paradis des Innocents from Zurich and Marai, a manufacturer of leather accessories and project of Neuenschwander Söhne AG in Oberdiessbach in the canton of Bern, have presented their jointly developed Capsule Collection at this year’s Mode Suisse in Zurich. The collection represents “a temporary collaboration that creates something that will stand the test of time”, Paradis des Innocents writes in a press release. The collection of clothes and belts has been designed to function as an interface between clothing and accessories.

The two partner companies worked together with the artist Arno Dietsche for the design of the collection. His task was to incorporate the lyrics of the Sophie Hunger song “everything is good” into the pattern of the clothes and belts. In this way, the aim was to imbue the garments with the message in the lyrics conveying confidence and a positive attitude towards life. The selected pattern encodes the song text in individual letters and at the same time symbolizes the infinity of the starry sky.

The clothes in the Capsule Collection are crafted from Tencel, cotton poplin and circular silk satin. Natural-colored and black goatskin was used for the belts in the collection. In addition, Paradis des Innocents has designed wide-legged leather pants to match the Marai accessories.
