Schwob launches table linen with immediate availability

(CONNECT) Schwob AG will be able to supply professional table linen within a very short time in future. According to an announcement from the linen mill, the fabrics for this are now available from stock in various color tones. This means that the company can also serve clients under time pressure, even when it comes to small order quantities.

Schwob stated: “Often, time as a factor is an important criterion for the procurement of textiles, for example in a hotel or for a restaurant. With Schwob’s newly launched collection, no compromises are needed: immediately available and yet still tailored to individual needs.” The company adds that this reduces the delivery period substantially while mantaining the manufacturing quality. However, the lead time for whole collections is still ten weeks.

The company was established in 1872 and produces high-quality textiles for clients across the world at its own Jacquard weaving mill. At the high-tech linen mill, 240 employees create bed linen and table linen for domestic and foreign hotels and catering as well as for clinics and residences. It also provides hundreds of clients with individual leased textiles per day through its full linen hire service. They are cleaned at its five boutique and industrial laundry centers as well as across 30 local partner laundry facilities.

Schwob is one of five nominated for the Prix SVC Espace Mittelland 2025 from the Swiss Venture Club. The award ceremony will take place at Kursaal Bern on March 12, 2025. A short film that will present the company there was recently shot at the company. ce/mm
