The company Schwob from Burgdorf in the Swiss canton of Bern is among the five nominees decided by the jury for the Prix SVC Espace Mittelland 2025. Founded in 1872, Schwob manufactures high-quality textiles for customers from across the world at its own jacquard weaving mill. It has 240 employees, produces bed and table linen for domestic and foreign hotels and restaurants, as well as for clinics and residences. With its full textile rental service, the company also supplies hundreds of customers with individual hired linen every day. The textiles are cleaned at five proprietary boutique and large-scale laundries in addition to 30 local partner laundries.
“During the nomination process, we have again learned all about five exceptional and inspiring companies, which all rank among the leading lights of the Espace Mittelland economic region”, as Jürg Schwarzenbach, Jury President, explains in a press release. In an announcement of its own, Schwob writes: “It is a great honor for us and we are proud to be among the selected finalists!”.
