ALUMO has been leading the way in cotton weaving and shirting fabric production for more than a century. ALUMO is based in the mountainous region of Appenzell, the home of the Swiss textile industry for the past several centuries. ALUMO continues this long tradition of fabric production in the region by honouring its own heritage and demonstrating its commitment to craftsmanship across every step of the value chain.

Aufgabengebiet
Key responsibilities: - act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and accurate support; - monitor and track the status of orders from acquisition to invoicing, ensuring delivery timelines are met, in coordination with other designated departments; - support the sales team by sharing required information on customers or products (prices, availability, etc.); - report any issues related to orders, product stock, or customers; - manage communication with the logistics team and warehouse to assist the administration in the correct issuance of sales and export documents; - prepare analyses and reports on product sales or customer orders to support business forecasting.
Anforderungsprofil
Key requirements: - high school diploma or a degree in economics/linguistics; - previous experience as a customer service representative. Profiles with minimal experience will also be considered; - excellent knowledge of German and English; - strong customer orientation and a team-oriented mindset; - proficiency with common computer tools; - basic knowledge of international shipping regulations is a plus.
