Mammut launches Mountain School

The Mammut Sports Group, a manufacturer of mountain, climbing and winter sports products based in Seon in the canton of Aargau, has founded the Mammut Mountain School in tandem with experienced mountaineering professionals from Zermatters and Andermatters. As detailed in a press release, the institution focuses on offering mountain enthusiasts the knowledge required to safely navigate Alpine areas and have fun while doing so. A comprehensive program of training sessions and mountain tours teaches both newcomers and seasoned mountaineers the skills required to safely tackle various hikes and climbs.

In addition to further training, the partnership offers customers additional benefits, the press release states. People who participate in a Mammut Mountain School program receive a 15 percent discount at Mammut retail outlets, while in turn those with Mammut customer accounts are offered this discount rate on training courses and tours offered by the mountain school. ce/ww
