Haelixa strengthens leadership team

Haelixa intends to drive supply chain innovations and accelerate the company’s growth on the back of “strategic appointments”. The company, which is based in Kemptthal in the canton of Zurich and focuses on textile traceability using DNA markers, has announced in a press release that Patrick Strumpf has been appointed as the new CEO, while Stefan Karlen is also joining the company’s Board of Directors. Their extensive expertise will help to “propel Haelixa to new heights”.

According to Haelixa, Patrick Strumpf boasts more than 20 years of experience in building and scaling up businesses. Thanks to his strong entrepreneurial background, he has excelled in various manufacturing, distribution, and retail roles. Moreover, Strumpf brings proven leadership, commercial acumen and a strong customer focus to the table. “I am excited about the Haelixa traceability solution. It sets the highest standards and delivers outstanding advantages to brands and manufacturers who position themselves as innovation leaders, especially regarding compliance and credibility issues”, he comments in the press release.

Stefan Karlen possesses more than 30 years of business experience, as the press release explains further. Among other roles, he has served as the Group CEO of Panalpina, one of the world’s leading freight forwarding and logistics companies. With “deep understanding” of global supply chains and experience in forming solid teams, Haelixa expects to benefit from his “valuable insights”. Karlen’s proven track record in driving innovations is described as “instrumental” in shaping the strategic direction of Haelixa.
