(CONNECT) Martin Hoffmann, Co-CEO and CFO at On, will run the company alone from 1 July 2025 on. His currently still acting Co-CEO Marc Maurer would like to take on different professional tasks but will continue to advise the partners and the Board of Directors until March 2026, according to a company statement.
“After a dozen years, it is time for me to move on, staying true to the culture and explorer spirit we have built,” the outgoing Maurer is quoted as saying. Martin Hoffmann added: “Sharing a CEO role with one of your closest friends is simply one of the best things that can happen to you in life.”
Co-Founder and Executive Co-Chairman, Caspar Coppetti, underscored the pivotal role that Maurer has played in building On. “We will miss Marc as a confidant and business partner, but we also respect his decision that this is a good moment for him to move on to the next chapter in his professional life,” he said.
Alongside Maurer's appointment, On announced four other strategic additions to the team. On 1 August, Katarina Berg is joining the company as Chief People Officer from Spotify, where she held the position of Head of Human Resources. Scott Maguire, formerly CEO at Specialized and COO at Dyson, will take up his role as Chief Innovation Officer on 1 April 2025. Adib Sisani will become Chief Communications Officer and was previously Global Head of Communications at Axel Springer. Craig Jones is joining as Chief Supply Chain Officer from Levi Strauss, where he held the position of SVP of Distribution and Logistics Operations. ce/mm
