(CONNECT) Nina Marenzi is a new member of the advisory board at Haelixa, based in the canton of Zurich. According to a company announcement, she will support Haelixa in building trust across the textile industry with her extensive experience leading the Future Fabrics Expo and connecting brands with innovators across the textile supply chain.

Marenzi founded The Sustainable Angle in Switzerland in 2010 and is its director. With its head office in London, the charitable organization initiates projects that contribute to minimizing the textile industry’s environmental impact. Her main project, the Future Fabrics Expo established in 2011, has become the largest trade fair for sustainable materials for the fashion industry. It takes place in London and New York and brings together material suppliers, visionary designers, and brands.

Haelixa’s CEO Patrick Strumpf commented: “As supply chain due diligence becomes a bigger concern, her insights will support our efforts to empower brands with reliable solutions, ensuring brand trust.” Marenzi added: “Tracking and verifying the authenticity of materials is important for brands aiming to enhance their environmental and social impact. I look forward to contributing to Haelixa’s mission and helping to drive change across the industry.” ce/mm
