Frick - Andreas Conzelmann will take the reigns as new CEO of the Jakob Müller Group on January 1, 2024. The 51-year-old moves from Trumpf Switzerland, where he also held the position of CEO. Conzelmann is now set to succeed Robert Reimann.

According to a press release issued by Jakob Müller Holding, Andreas Conzelmann has been named as the new CEO of the Jakob Müller Group (JMG) with effect from January 1, 2024. Conzelmann succeeds Robert Reimann, who departed the Aargau-based business group at the midpoint of the year after having worked at the firm for more than 30 years.

Founded in 1887, the Jakob Müller Group develops innovative and sustainable systems and solutions for narrow textiles. The company is active in various sectors, including fashion, automotive, industry, medicine and home textiles, as well as real estate.

Most recently, Conzelmann, who is married with three children, was CEO at the machine tool manufacturer and laser technology firm Trumpf Switzerland.

“The Jakob Müller Group has an impressive history and is known for its innovative strength and top quality”, the new CEO comments in the press release, adding that: “I look forward to further establishing JMG around the world with its high value orientation and excellent understanding of service”. Stephan Bühler, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, explains that under Conzelmann’s leadership the company now has “the potential to further drive growth and to consolidate the position of the Jakob Müller Group as a global leader in the industry”. ce/ww
