Silvan Wildhaber nominated as President of economiesuisse
The Board Committee of economiesuisse will propose Silvan Wildhaber for election as the new President of the business umbrella organisation. The election will take place at the Board meeting in March. We warmly congratulate our Vice President on this nomination.
Silvan Wildhaber, a high-profile SME entrepreneur, has been nominated for the presidency of the umbrella organisation. As a long-standing board member of Swiss Textiles, he is familiar with the challenges faced by internationally oriented SMEs from both an entrepreneurial and an association policy perspective.
We are extremely pleased that a representative of the textile industry has been nominated for this position.
Silvan Wildhaber has been a member of the Swiss Textiles Board since 2012, chaired the Economic Policy Committee from 2012 to 2025, later the Economic Policy Committee and has been Vice President of the association since 2023. He represents Swiss Textiles on the Board of economiesuisse, the employers' association and on the Board of the European textile association Euratex.
