CHT celebrates anniversaries at two sites in China

(CONNECT) The CHT Group, which is represented on the Swiss market by CHT Switzerland AG in Oberriet in the canton of St.Gallen, has marked the anniversaries of two Chinese subsidiaries. CHT Dongguan celebrated its 30 year anniversary, while the CHT Tianjin site has turned 15, as the company writes in a press release.

CHT Dongguan was founded in 1995. The facility produces a wide range of products, primarily for the textile industry. Covering an area of 24,400 square meters, the plant is home to production facilities, a modern laboratory, warehousing and office space. It is located in the Greater Bay Area, which offers excellent transport connections to Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

The smaller plant in Tianjin, which covers an area of 3,611 square meters, was founded in 2010. Here, the company employs 15 staff who handle the production of silicon products used primarily in the healthcare sector. The facility boasts an annual production capacity of 1,200 tons. In addition, research activities focused on industrial solutions for high-performance materials, paper technology and healthcare markets are carried out on site.

Both companies are certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO14001. In each case, the business focus is chiefly on the Asia-Pacific region. ce/ww
