(CONNECT) The sporting apparel manufacturer Revario, based in Marly in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland, has outlined its plans to expand into German-speaking Switzerland in a press release. The company intends to launch a crowdfunding campaign in July, which aims to generate funds to finance its growth. Moreover, the opening of a new location in Marly covering 400 square meters will offer greater space for production activities.

Revario will seek to use this crowdfunding campaign to generate targeted financial resources for growth in German-speaking Switzerland. The company plans to hire new employees in production and sales primarily in German-speaking Switzerland. The crowdfunding campaign is being conducted via Revario’s website, where interested individuals can invest in the company from a starting price of 500 Swiss francs.

The company is set to move into its new site in Marly from August. It is located close to the current workshop. Covering an area of 400 square meters, the new site should facilitate an increased production volume in the future.

Revario’s clothing is designed for outdoor sports, while also being suited to professional use. Manufactured in Marly, the company exclusively uses textiles from suppliers located within a 600-kilometer radius of the workshop. To extend the lifespan of its products, the company also offers a repair service for all clothing. Revario thereby seeks to promote local and responsible production activities in the textile industry. ce/nta
