Winterthur/Wing - Rieter India has won the Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association’s Apex Export Award in Mumbai. The award recognizes excellence in the export of spinning machinery from India to the rest of the world.

At its 63rd Annual General Meeting in Mumbai, the Indian Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association presented the Apex Export Award to Rieter India. The award recognizes companies that export high-quality textile machinery and parts across the world. The turnover volume in India is the decisive factor.

According to a LinkedIn post from the textile machinery manufacturer, the award testifies to “Rieter’s commitment to product quality, the company’s focus on technology leadership, and relentless commitment to customer success”. The award was received by Head of Marketing Pankaj Dangra and Head of Sales Shubhra Khanvilkar.

Rieter's Indian subsidiary established its headquarters on the expressway from Mumbai to Pune, in the settlement of Wing, in 1995. As early as 1962, Rieter started operations at its plant in Coimbatore in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Rieter has a total of 18 production sites in 10 countries and employs almost 6,000 people worldwide, of whom 16.4 per cent work out of Switzerland. ce/mm
