Zurich - David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti, the two founders of On, will both succeed Martin Hoffmann as CEO. Hoffmann is stepping down after 13 years at the helm of the premium sports brand. Scott Maguire is set to become the new President and COO.

(CONNECT) According to a statement released by On Holding AG, Martin Hoffmann has decided to step down from the role of CEO after 13 years leading the company. “It is difficult to put into words how impactful Martin has been”, comments Co-CEO Caspar Coppetti, who adds: “From our early days through a landmark IPO, his commitment to our culture and financial discipline has been instrumental. It has been a privilege to work alongside him, and we are deeply grateful for his partnership, his outstanding contribution and the legacy he has built”.

With effect from May 1, 2026, the company founders David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti will jointly lead the company while continuing to serve as Executive Co-Chairmen of the Board of Directors. This move is designed to strengthen their operational responsibility and to ensure that the founders’ long-term strategic leadership is directly aligned with operational implementation.

This personnel reshuffle has also seen Scott Maguire promoted to President and COO. In this new role, he will oversee the entire value chain, from research and development and production all the way through to marketing and global sales. According to the statement, Maguire boasts profound expertise in engineering and design, as well as more than 20 years of international leadership experience at premium brands. Moreover, Maguire has played a vital role in shaping On’s innovative strength and operational backbone.

“I am honored to work even more closely with our co-founders to execute On’s strategy as one connected flywheel”, Maguire states in relation to his new role. He adds: “By aligning the organization tightly around the product and consumer journey, we are creating the space to keep pushing boundaries and build a seamless global brand experience for our growing community of fans.
