The home textiles firm Journey Living, which is based in the canton of Bern, has launched a new range of bedding for the spring/summer season. An inspirational trip to the Italian region of Tuscany resulted in the development of the Toscana Collection, further details of which can be found in a press release. This comprises three new designs and two additional pastel-inspired colorways for the block color Braga line.
The ideas for the new designs with two new digital prints came about in the small city of Lucca, which also lends its name to part of the new collection. They are made of high-quality satin, which is made from organic cotton. The cooling bed linen of the Bolgheri collection, which features a yarn-dyed stripe design, consists of 70 percent organic cotton and 30 percent linen, a mixture that the company has used for the first time.
Journey Living manufactures high-quality bedding, bathroom and home textiles as well as accessories. The company describes its production processes, which are based in Portugal and Turkey, as being “sustainable and fair”. Moreover, these are handled exclusively by “family companies with whom we have developed long-standing working relationships”.
