East Switzerland textile companies Christian Fischbacher and Bischoff Interior from St.Gallen and Stardecor and Landenberg from Teufen in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden presented their new collections in the events hall at Presswerk Arbon in the canton of Thurgau. According to a press release, the event organizers see the InteriorOst showroom event as the premiere of a national trade fair for home textiles.

Companies specializing in interior decoration, interior design and soft furnishings were invited to attend. Alongside the organizers, well-known companies such as Tisca, Saum & Viebahn, Ditex Interieur and JAB Anstoetz were among the exhibitors. Visitors were able to browse luxurious curtain and furniture fabrics, premium carpets, stylish cushions and high-end outdoor furniture.

“We wanted there to be plenty of chances to network,” said Christian Brunner, CEO of Landenberg AG, as quoted in the press release. The organizers therefore focused the event on face-to-face interaction between exhibitors and visitors with expert knowledge of the field, as well as opportunities to be inspired by new products and collections.

“We wanted to create a different atmosphere and a new kind of trade fair experience,” said Rolf Schibli, Head of Sales Switzerland at Christian Fischbacher. According to the press release, the positive reception has encouraged the organizers to continue with and develop their trade fair concept. eb

Während der InteriorOs wurden die neuen Kollektionen der Textilunternehmen präsentiert. Der Anlass soll sich dereinst zu einer national ausgerichteten Messe für Wohntextilien mausern.
