Lavie, the brand owned by Balsiger Textil from Langenthal in the canton of Bern, is launching a new table linen collection on the market. Its two lines Erik and Smilla can be used individually or combined together, as Lavie writes in a corresponding press release. All products in the new collection are manufactured in Europe.
The tablecloths, runners and napkins under the Erik line are “the new heavyweights for attractive table settings”, Lavie claims. They are available in different colorways, which can also be combined. The Erik collection, for which all products are made from 100% linen, includes a tea towel design as well.
Smilla comes in a “stylish waffle look” and is available in the lilac and frog colorways, as well as an undyed look. The tablecloths, table runners, placemats and napkins are made from 70 percent organic cotton and 30 percent linen. The Smilla collection also includes a hand towel. ce/hs
