Muntagnard has further developed its MIUtec Iso jacket and is set to launch a new gilet and hooded jacket on the market. As is the case with the award-winning MIUtec Iso jacket, the two new garments are fully recyclable. The design was simply “refined and made more elegant”, as the clothing manufacturer based in the canton of Graubünden explains in a press release.
Those interested can take a look at the prototypes of the hooded jackets and gilets from August 24 at Muntagnard’s flagship store in Chur in the canton of Graubünden. However, the two new products will not be available to buy either in store or via the online shop, with sales actually to be coordinated through the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.
Muntagnard will only start to manufacture the hooded jackets and gilets for men and women, which are available in either black or dark blue, once a sufficient number of pre-orders have been received via Kickstarter. The campaign is set to start on August 24 and is scheduled to end on September 23. Customers who place an order before the deadline can take advantage of a discount of up to 33 percent, the company writes in the press release.
In this way, so as to avoid unnecessary waste, Muntagnard is seeking to ensure that only as many jackets and vests are manufactured as can be sold. However, there is no risk for the buyers, since payments will only be processed once the project has been completed. ce/hs
