Odlo has presented an exclusive cross-country collection to tie in with this year’s Engadin Skimarathon, an annual cross-country skiing race. The limited-edition high-performance collection was specially developed for training and competition, as the manufacturer of sports clothing based in Hünenberg in the canton of Zug writes in a press release. The Engadin Skimarathon is set to take place on Sunday, March 10, 2024, in Maloja in the canton of Graubünden.

The special collection is being presented to celebrate the long-standing partnership that connects Odlo with the world’s second largest cross-country skiing event. In its role as event sponsor for the ninth year in a row, the company is equipping the organizing committee and more than 1,200 volunteers with its high-performance clothing, according to the press release.

The limited Engadin Skimarathon collection comprises clothing for training and competition that has been manufactured with a high level of expert craftsmanship. All of the items feature an exclusive Engadin Skimarathon design to appropriately honor this prestigious event in the international cross-country skiing calendar, as Odlo writes in the press release.

In its competition-focused Race line, Odlo offers the XC Race top and pants, which are made from lightweight and stretchy fabric that is also tight-fitting, as the press release states. The XC Pro Vest offers additional protection without restricting the wearer’s freedom of movement, while a high-performance cross-country ski jacket and pants are offered with an athletic fit, in addition to a skiing cap, snood and headband.

Once again, more than 14,000 cross-country skiers from 60 different countries are expected to take part in the 54th edition of the Engadin Skimarathon as part of a week of cross-country skiing in the upper Engadine valley. ce/gba
