Forster Rohner is the new sponsor of the swimmer Christian Schreiber, further details of which can be found in a press release issued by the textiles company based in St.Gallen. Schreiber himself also hails from St.Gallen and it is for precisely this reason that Forster Rohner sought to sponsor him. “There is an incredible amount of potential in our region. For us, it’s exciting internally as well as externally to work with young people from St.Gallen”, as CEO Emanuel Forster explains in the press release.
Schreiber’s connection to the company goes further still. During his participation at the Open Water World Championships, which are being held July 14-30 in Fukuoka, Japan, Schreiber will wear swim shorts from the Vilebrequin brand, which feature embroidery designed by the Forster Rohner design team. “I came into contact with fashion at an early age and find Forster Rohner’s products innovative. The fact that they create embroidery designs for the cool French swimwear brand Vilebrequin creates a fitting connection”, comments Schreiber.
Schreiber is a student at the University of St.Gallen. He is targeting a place at the Olympic Games in Paris next year. “Not only his roots in St.Gallen, but also his ambition and perseverance make Christian Schreiber an excellent ambassador for Forster Rohner AG. Fashion is also all about dedication and precision”, Emanuel Forster concludes. ce/jh
