The Zurich-based bag manufacturer FREITAG is launching three new models suitable for cyclists. According to a press release, these are also 100 percent made from recycled materials – as is traditionally the case for FREITAG bags. To this end, discarded truck tarps and materials from recycled PET bottles are used. To ensure good visibility even in the dark or at night, the company’s design team has used reflective recycled truck contour markings. A special feature of the new bags is that they can be repaired easily, the press release states. This is due to the fact that the bags are produced by way of a specific modular system, meaning that the components can be easily replaced.

The new range includes the F670 WARREN, a medium-sized crossbody bag with a volume of 4-5 liters, the F680 ANDERSON roll-top tote bag (14 liters) and the F690 COSTON backpack, which features extra padding for heavy loads.

All of the bags come with carrying straps made from recycled seat belts and reflective contour material. As always with FREITAG, the new models are well suited for cycling too. The three new designs have been available to purchase in store and online since October 11. ce/eb
