St.Gallen - The textiles manufacturer Christian Fischbacher and the architect Giuliano dell'Uva will present a joint collection of home textiles at this year’s Milan Design Week next month. The fabrics have been ecologically and sustainably produced using hemp.

At this year’s Milan Design Week, Christian Fischbacher will be presenting home textiles with a special link to the island of Capri. The collection of interior fabrics by the name of “Dreaming of Capri” are designed to bring a touch of La Dolce Vita and Italian elegance to any space, further details of which can be found in a press release. The fabrics have been ecologically and sustainably produced on the basis of hemp and were designed in collaboration with the architectural firm Giuliano Andrea dell'Uva.

“Join us on a unique journey from deep ocean blue to elegant ocher and discover the leafy motifs that capture the vintage glamor of the island”, the invitation states. In addition to Dreaming of Capri, the high-quality textiles from the BENU Recycled collection will also be presented. They are made from recycled PET bottles and wool scraps.

Milan Design Week 2023 is set to take place April 18-23. Creative Director Camilla Fischbacher and Giuliano dell'Uva will open the doors to their Milan showroom from 4-7 p.m. on April 17, where the new collection will also be presented.

Christian Fischbacher, a long-standing company with a rich history in the St.Gallen area, has been manufacturing home textiles for more than 200 years. These include interior fabrics, carpets, bedding and accessories. eb
