Création Baumann has presented its new collection of fabrics by the name of “DREAM!”. The company claims that the home textiles can be used to create moments of tranquility and fantasy with artistic prints, overlays and transparent elements that invite you to let your dreams run wild. Alongside the interplay between dreams and reality, as well as the use of blurred, abstract designs, the collection combines transparent and dense fabrics with calm and elaborately designed materials that can be effortlessly combined with each other.

In addition to delicate voiles, extravagant floral prints and expansive effects offer exciting interior design options. For example, the opaque DREAM fabric achieves an impact through the use of abstract color overlays and airbrush elements allied with the three-dimensional relief effect of the jacquard. The light reflection of the transparent and shiny POESIA and DAYDREAM fabrics is boosted by a special, triangular yarn.

Another pillar of the collection are the geometric and organic shapes such as grids and points of light. In the ORELIA fabric, these are reminiscent of ink blots on blotting paper, with the fine pleated structure serving to accentuate the contrast between the matt and shiny elements.

Création Baumann, founded in 1886, is a family-owned textiles firm headquartered in Langenthal in the canton of Bern. Through its subsidiaries and partners, the company is active in more than 40 countries around the world. Création Baumann is characterized in particular by its design studio and proprietary production. The brand’s portfolio ranges from acoustic solutions and furnishing textiles such as curtains and upholstery fabrics, all the way through to functional textiles and systems for interior shading. ce/mm
