Impact Acoustic is launching a new textile from its ARCHISONIC collection on the market. In a press release, the Lucerne-based textile company explains that the new fabric will be an alternative to the Felt acoustic solution, which is used in architecture and the furniture industry. As with this felt-like material, ARCHISONIC Textile is made of 100% recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET).

ARCHISONIC Textile is available in 32 colors that are based on the ARCHISONIC Felt range. “We aim to inspire designers to push the boundaries of creative expression while ensuring sustainability remains at the core of their designs,” says Jeffrey Ibañez, Co-Founder and Chief Design Officer at Impact Acoustic. “All our materials showcase our commitment to minimizing waste and creating a brighter future.”

The company explains that ARCHISONIC Textile can be returned after use, processed, and re-used in other acoustic products. For example, the recyclable fabric can be used to manufacture acoustic curtains or upholstery for furniture. ce/hs
