Langenthal - Journey Living has unveiled its new collection of bedding for autumn and winter. Following its successful ‘Toskana‘ spring collection, the brand of Balsiger Textil in the canton of Bern has once again taken its inspiration from Italy.

The home textiles brand Journey Living of Balsiger Textil AG in Langenthal has presented its latest collection for autumn and winter. According to a press release, the design team, inspired by the success of the ‘Toskana’ spring collection, has once again selected themes from Italy for the new season.

The new Journey Living collection is based on Florence, with two motifs – Bardini and Firenze. Villa Bardini, high above Florence, is known not only for its magical view across the city, but also for its flower garden. This garden, as well as the floor plan of the nave of Florence Cathedral, served as the basis for the inspiration for the two new designs, writes the press release. The patterned satin collection is complemented by two matching monocolours – ocean green and dusty powder.

The entire Journey Living range of bedding is made from certified organic cotton, which is dyed, printed and produced in Portugal before being shipped by road to Switzerland, according to the company. It also includes the Montalcino stripe design, made from a blend of 70 per cent cotton and 30 per cent linen, which is temperature-regulating.

New to the range is a 130- by 170-centimetre throw, available in ocean green, dusty powder and stone. Named Volterra, it is made from 100 per cent organic cotton gauze.
