ISA bodywear is joining forces with Louis Margot and his Human Impulse project. The athlete from Morges is seeking to break the record for circumnavigating the globe using only muscle power. To achieve this, Margot is aiming to cover a total of 50,000 kilometers by bike and rowing boat in less than three years. Starting in Morges, he plans to get on the move on September 2.
“Throughout his journey, Louis will embody the shared values of Human Impulse and ISA bodywear”, as Sallmann AG, owner of the ISA bodywear brand name, writes in a press release covering the partnership with Louis Margot, adding that: “We are proud to have been able to secure his services as a sustainability ambassador”. For ISA bodywear, sustainability means much more than just the use of sustainable materials. According to information from the company itself, a large proportion of the fabrics it uses are manufactured at the company headquarters in Amriswil in the canton of Thurgau, with only cutting and sewing processes carried out at its factory in Portugal. Here, ISA bodywear now exclusively manufactures using electricity obtained from its own solar power plant.
In the Human Impulse project, Louis Margot’s aim is to spread and share the “pursuit of a human impulse”. In this context, his mission is to inspire young people “to move and embark on meaningful endeavors in our world”. ce/hs
