According to a press release, the Changemaker chain of shops now includes fashion by Remei client WE ARE ZRCL in its range. As Remei explains, the organic cotton streetwear will be available online and in the retail store in Baden in the canton of Aargau.

Swiss entrepreneur and textiles engineer Patrick Hohmann founded Rotkreuz-based yarn trading company Remei in the canton of Zug, laying the foundation for trade in organic cotton, fair trade relations and sustainable textiles. He also launched the bioRe Foundation and bioRe quality control system, which enshrines five values in Remei’s transparent production chain: organic cotton, fair production, ecological and skin-friendly properties, CO2-neutral production, and traceability right back to the farming origins.

The WE ARE ZRCL streetwear label describes itself as a label “without secrets”. It says its organic bioRe cotton collections are produced in cooperation with bioRe projects in India and Tanzania, and are free from pesticides and artificial fertilizers. The production chain for each item of clothing can be traced on the company’s Track Me page.

Changemaker is based in Zurich and operates 10 shops across Switzerland. Its range includes 4,000 products from several hundred different suppliers. ce/heg
