Each year, the Verband Schweizerischer Elektrizitätsunternehmen (association of Swiss electricity companies, VSE), Verband für Elektro-, Energie- und Informationstechnik (association for electrical, energy and information technology, electrosuisse), and Fachverband für Wasser, Gas und Wärme (professional association for water, gas and heat, SVGW) hold a seminar for safety officers working in the energy sector (SiBe). This year’s SiBe took place on June 29 and 30 in Campus Sursee in Sursee in the canton of Lucerne. According to a post on LinkedIn by Cham-based workwear manufacturer workfashion, the company used this opportunity to present its latest multinorm collection.
In the post, workfashion writes that “the right workwear is a crucial element of occupational safety in the energy sector.” Safety officers understand exactly what features this workwear needs to have. The Zug-based textiles company has also attended SiBe in previous years.
Workfashion has been making workwear for Swiss companies for over 50 years, and says on its website that it upholds the highest standards in terms of both quality and sustainability. It works with partners such as Fair Wear to achieve its sustainability objectives. ce/hs
