Fabromont is presenting a new, sustainable Kugelgarn collection. This is an exceptionally durable floor covering with an extremely long service life, which alone “makes an important contribution to environmental protection”, as Fabromont writes in a press release. The most sustainable Kugelgarn ever is now being presented by Fabromont as part of a new collection by the name of Reval.

The textile content of the wear layer comprises 100 percent ECONYL yarn, with the backing made from recycled polyester. ECONYL is regenerated nylon made entirely from polyamide waste. According to the press release, it can be recycled infinitely without compromising on consistent quality due to the fact that it can be repeatedly broken down into its individual components time and again.

According to Fabromont, the development process above all honed in on “transferring the unique Kugelgarn technology to the new material ECONYL and to meeting the highest quality demands on Kugelgarn in this most sustainable variant as well”. ce/mm
