(CONNECT) Climatex has joined the Circular Clothing network, which is based in Zurich. As detailed in a LinkedIn post, the manufacturer of textile goods on the basis of recycled materials, which hails from Altendorf in the Swiss canton of Schwyz, is reportedly seeking, through this partnership, to join forces to bundle expertise and experiences with the aim of achieving a circular future for textiles.
Patented Cradle-to-Cradle technologies allow used textile products to enjoy a second life in addition to making a significant contribution to cutting CO2 emissions, as Circular Clothing writes in a press release of its own.
Climatex takes used textiles and recycles them to produce yarns and fabrics for use in clothing, home textiles and seat covers in public transport. The company seeks to play its part in making the vision of a sustainable textile industry a reality through its concept of sorting used textiles into natural and technical raw materials before reintroducing them to the economic cycle. ce/ww
