(CONNECT) The Zurich-based design studio QWSTION has presented a new collection of plastic-free caps. The fashionable caps were developed together with the Zurich designer András Markus from Studio Akla, as detailed in a press release. The company states that a total of ten unique models have been designed.
Plant-based materials, primarily banana fibers, are used to manufacture the handmade caps. These fibers are processed together with Tencel wood fibers. The baseball caps are lightweight and breathable, and once they reach the end of their useful lives, the caps are fully compostable. As such, they can be fully integrated into the circular economy.
The caps will be available in stores on June 23, 2025. ce/ww
