The Cham-based company workfashion AG, which manufactures workwear, has published its sustainability report for 2023, according to a statement. “Alongside our customers, suppliers and employees, we are weaving a green world of tomorrow,” the statement writes.

Social and ecological sustainability is more than just a trend for workfashion, it continues. Only by working together can we successfully achieve the goals set by Sustainable Textiles Switzerland 2030 (STS), it writes. The goals are lower CO2 emissions, fair wages and humane working conditions. At workfashion, we think innovatively, aim for a circular economy and communicate openly – in line with the STS goals, says the company.

“At workfashion, sustainability means that we recognize our social responsibility and see ourselves as part of a large ecosystem,” according to the sustainability report. “Workfashion can only continue to flourish if people and the environment are doing well. We want to be there for Swiss companies for another 50 years and dress them in sustainable products.”

Workfashion says it is proud to work with renowned initiatives such as the Fair Wear Foundation. The Dutch organization campaigns for better working conditions in the textile industry.

Of itself, Workfashion writes: “We have been weaving together people and companies for over 50 years. As a Swiss supplier of workwear, we ensure optimum combinations of materials, cuts and design. Working to the highest standards of quality and sustainability, we are contemporary, creative and innovative. We supply companies whose working environments and requirements are as diverse as the people who work in them.” ce/gba
