(CONNECT) Circular Clothing is demonstrating “continuous growth out of the niche”, writes the cooperative in a statement. It continues to announce that the textile companies Balsiger Textil and the family-run startup Eliz have launched new recyclable products under their lavie and STUNED brands.

Lavie is launching the first Cradle to Cradle gold-certified bed linen. Named Frida, it is completely free from harmful substances – from the cotton material to the dyes and processing. The mono-materials can one day be returned to the natural cycle and Frida was also produced under fair social conditions.

Another Circular Clothing brand, STUNED, has complemented its range of circular bags with two sustainable denim fabrics: ecru denim and black denim. They both hold the highest Cradle to Cradle certificate and are biodegradable. Sheena Thommen, the designer behind STUNED, has additionally created an innovative waistband for the trousers in the collection containing a concealed elastic band that is invisible from the outside.

Circular Clothing was founded in 2022 and launched its first three products under the Blue suit brand. In addition to this brand, there are currently over 100 products from a total of four brands, including lavie, STUNED and WE ARE ZRCL, according to the statement. The cooperative also has two new associate members: Carpasus and Climatex. ce/mm
