(CONNECT) The lavie brand, which is part of Langenthal-based Balsiger Textil AG in the Swiss canton of Bern, has expanded its range with Endo Plaid. The blanket is part of the latest fall and winter collection and will be available from 9 October. It is made of 100 per cent merino wool. According to a statement, Endo is manufactured at Manifattura Lombarda, a family-run weaving mill in Lombardy that has been working with natural fibers for over 50 years.
Measuring 130 by 170 centimeters, the throw features a two-sided graphic leopard print and a fringed hem. The company explains that the nap is raised after weaving, giving the wool added volume and a soft, fluffy texture. Endo is available in “Avocado” (light green/dark blue) and “Coconut” (light brown/dark blue).
Lavie designs home textiles for the bedroom, bathroom, and living areas using materials including linen, organic cotton, hemp, and Bananatex. Its parent company, Balsiger Textil, has been certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) since 2019 and the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) since 2023. ce/as
