Remei makes Holm Things' children's jacket traceable

Rotkreuz/Horgen - Remei AG and children’s clothing brand Holm Things are collaborating on a fleece jacket made from organic cotton. Using Remei’s “my trace” digital solution, the garment’s origins can be traced back to the cotton seed.

(CONNECT) Remei and Horgen-based Holm Things GmbH in the Swiss canton of Zurich have launched a children’s fleece jacket made from organic cotton with traceable origins. A QR code on the product links to Remei’s my trace and reveals each step in the value chain, from farming to the finished garment, according to a statement from the Rotkreuz-based textile company in the Swiss canton of Zug.

With this collaborative fleece jacket, Remei and Holm Things aim to demonstrate that transparency and design can go hand in hand. “Parents should be able to know where their children’s clothes come from and under what conditions they were produced,” writes Remei.

Remei specializes in traceable private-label collections made from organic cotton for international business customers. Founded in 1991, the company works across the textile value chain, from cotton cultivation to finished products. Through its subsidiaries in India and Tanzania, Remei works directly with smallholder farmers.

Holm Things was founded by Lilian Holm and focuses on natural fibers and traceable materials for children's clothing. The fleece jackets are available in the online store in sizes 92 to 128 and in the colors Blush, Lavender, and Sapphire. ce/as
