CWS Workwear expands Emissions Calculator to include water metrics

(CONNECT) CWS Workwear has revised its Emissions Calculator, introduced in 2024, and updated it to reflect 2025 data. According to a statement, the online tool from the workwear rental service provider now also features a dedicated function for displaying water savings.

The Emissions Calculator maps the impact of the business model based on emissions, resource, monetary and water savings. The new standalone function provides details of initiatives such as water recovery, reuse and recycling for the first time.

The calculator is designed to support companies with regulatory requirements, sustainability reporting and procurement decisions, and is also available for the CWS Healthcare division. “Transparency and data quality are key components of credible sustainability work,” explained Leonie Biesen, Head of Sustainability & ESG at CWS Workwear. With this update, the sustainability impact of the circular service model can be captured with greater accuracy.

The German company operates in 15 countries, including as CWS Workwear Schweiz AG, headquartered in Wil in the canton of St. Gallen. ce/as
