The topics of the presentations and deep dives yesterday could hardly have been more different - and yet they had one thing in common: they reflected the diversity of the industry at the fully booked Innovation Day organised by Swiss Textiles 2025.

The participants were offered a broad spectrum of impressions - from a textile robot for delicate applications to a device that will be particularly useful in view of the introduction of the digital product passport by the EU, to a coaching community.

A workshop on the topic of textiles in defence was also held for the first time. The two Swiss Textiles experts Aline Berger and Silvan Hunhevicz gave an insight into a field that is gaining in importance due to increasing geopolitical uncertainty.

Afterwards, the Amphora Foundation and Swiss Fair Trade presented the Fair Fashion Award - a fitting conclusion to a programme that combined inspiration and innovation.
