(CONNECT) Fischbacher 1819 is presenting two new collections this fall: BENU Recycled Upholstery and Helios & Oceanos for outdoors. According to the company, the new BENU Recycled range includes seven upholstery fabrics, which offer a versatility that ranges from richly textured bouclés to structured geometries, soft velvets and a fil coupé to a softly draping blackout fabric.

All fibers are made from recycled materials such as used plastic bottles or leftover fabric samples from the fashion industry. They are engineered for durability and are color-coordinated with the entire collection. The color palette ranges from classic neutrals to rich, architectural hues.

With its outdoor collection by the name of Helios & Oceanos, Fischbacher 1819 is aiming to pay the same level of attention to outdoor areas as it does to interior design. The geometric patterns used in this collection are inspired by ancient Greek motifs and the Titans Helios, the sun god, and Oceanos, the sea god. Made entirely from reusable polypropylene, the fabrics are naturally antibacterial, in addition to being resistant to mold, UV light and seawater. Moreover, Fischbacher emphasized that the fabrics also possess excellent non-fade properties. ce/mm
