Impact Acoustic and Zumtobel offer lighting and acoustic solutions from a single source

(CONNECT) Lucerne-based Impact Acoustic AG and Zumtobel Lighting GmbH from Dornbirn in Austria have agreed to collaborate. According to a statement, the companies will combine their expertise in acoustics, lighting, design, and system integration to provide lighting and acoustic solutions for public and company spaces worldwide. As part of their partnership, they will offer building owners and professionals in architecture, interior design, and lighting design integrated standard and custom solutions from a single source, along with lighting and acoustic consulting.

This allows them to meet two customer needs at once, explains Raphael Petri, Vice President of Brand at Zumtobel – “firstly, the desire for first-class lighting conditions and secondly, the desire to create optimal acoustic room quality. In addition, we are able to provide optimal support for individual projects”. Zumtobel Lighting is part of the globally active Zumtobel Group, which also has a presence in Zurich through its subsidiary Zumtobel Licht AG.

Both partners also share a focus on sustainability. According to the statement, Zumtobel develops new products in accordance with strict Circular Design Rules. Since early March, the company has also been refurbishing existing lighting systems through its Remanufacturing Service, giving them a new manufacturer’s warranty.

Impact Acoustic has positioned itself as a pioneer in circular acoustic solutions. Its products are made from recycled and renewable raw materials and designed for durability, reparability, and reintegration into the circular economy, including through the company’s own Re:Impact take-back program.
