(CONNECT) Bieri Tenta AG celebrated its 60th anniversary on 5 September, as the company recently announced in a statement. The celebrations included a tour of the company, a cogwheel train ride up Mount Rigi, and an evening anniversary dinner cruise on Lake Lucerne. In the fall, the group also celebrated a second anniversary: its German subsidiary, Bieri Zeltaplan GmbH in Leipzig, has now been part of the company for 25 years.
The textile specialist used the anniversary to reflect on the company's history, while looking to the future with a focus on sustainable materials, circular product concepts, and the next generation of technical textiles. This reportedly means that Bieri Tenat is remaining true to its standards going forward: “Our aim is to find the right solution for every challenge – solution-oriented, innovative, and based on partnership,” writes the statement.
Bieri Tenta AG, a technical textile solutions manufacturer for industries including manufacturing, construction, transportation, architecture, and events, was founded in 1965 as Fritz Bieri Schlauchweberei.
