(CONNECT) Lavie, a brand of Balsiger Textil AG with a focus on home textiles made from linen, organic cotton and hemp, has joined forces again with the family company Création Baumann, an interior design company with a proprietary design studio, to develop the limited Out-of-Stock Edition collection.

The Out-of-Stock Edition is the second collection of ready-made curtains jointly designed by the two Langenthal-based textile companies. It is based around the motto of “Made from leftovers to make you happy”. All curtains in the collection are made from high-quality leftover material stocks from Création Baumann, as detailed in a press release. As such, the products in the series are only available in limited quantities, albeit in a variety of exceptional colors.

The Linaria curtains are available in plain, single color or two-tone designs. The former, produced in Belgium and Switzerland, is made from 91 percent Belgian linen and comes in chalk, off-white, anthracite and lavender shades. The two-tone Linaria Color Block model combines five colorways including chalk/purple, pink/indigo, silver/yellow, off-white/sand, and light blue/red.

The light-permeable Gingerino model made from 100 percent Italian linen is available in three color variants: Taupe, multicolor and light gray. These semi-transparent curtains are manufactured in Italy and Switzerland in the dimensions of 155 x 270 centimeters. All three products have been available to purchase at lavie-home.ch from November 2025.

Lavie is a brand of Balsiger Textil AG from Langenthal in the canton of Bern that stands for fairly produced home textiles. In this spirit, Balsiger Textil AG has been GOTS-certified (Global Organic Textiles Standard) since 2019 and signed up to the Sustainable Textiles Switzerland 2030 program in 2022. ce/ja
