(CONNECT) The finalists for the 2026 Green Business Award have been announced. From a total of 30 nominated companies, an interdisciplinary preliminary jury has selected three finalists each for the SME/Corporates and ScaleUps categories, as was reporting in statement from the organizer, Green Business Switzerland. INFOMANIAK NETWORK from Geneva, BELIMO Automation from Hinwil in the canton of Zurich and Vögeli from Langnau im Emmental in the canton of Bern have made it to the finals in the SME/Corporates category. In the ScaleUps category, AgroSustain from Renens in the canton of Vaud, OceanSafe from Bern and Meteomatics from St. Gallen are competing for the accolade.

INFOMANIAK NETWORK qualified with its energy-efficient underground data center, whose waste heat flows into Geneva’s district heating network. BELIMO Automation impressed the jury with its data-based optimization of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Vögeli AG Marketingproduktion & Druck was lauded for its printing and packaging solutions based on the Cradle to Cradle principle.

AgroSustain prevailed with an edible coating for fresh produce. OceanSafe advances to the finals with naNea, a biodegradable and recyclable high-performance material for textiles. Meteomatics is competing with its high-resolution weather model, which is becoming increasingly critical for renewable energy.

The Green Business Award honors companies that combine ecological impact with economic success. “The finalists show where business can make a difference: in buildings, energy, supply chains, production and materials,” commented Cédric Habermacher, Director of Green Business Switzerland. “Their solutions are developed in Switzerland, but address challenges that are relevant worldwide.” The winning company in the SME/Corporates category will be announced on 3 September 2026 and the ScaleUps winner on 12 February 2027. ce/hs
